y a tu esperma, que es Cristo.

et semini tuo, qui est Christus.
y a tu semen, que es Cristo.

Gálatas, 3.16

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Then the Ennead said: “Horus and Seth shall be summoned and judged!” So they were brought before the Ennead. The All-Lord spoke before the great Ennead to Horus and Seth: “Go and heed what I tell you: Eat, drink, and leave us in peace! Stop quarreling here every day!”Then Seth said to Horus: “Come, let us have a feast day at my house.” And Horus said to him: “I will, I will.” Now when evening had come, a bed was prepared for them, and they lay down together. At night, Seth let his member become stiff and he inserted it between the thighs of Horus. And Horus placed his hands between his thighs and caught the semen of Seth. Then Horus went to tell his mother Isis: “Come, Isis my mother, come and see what Seth did to me.” He opened his hand and let her see the semen of Seth. She cried out aloud, took her knife, cut off hand and threw it in the water. Then she made a new hand for him. And she took a dab of sweet ointment and put it on the member of Horus. She made it become stiff, placed ir over a pot, and he let his semen drop into it.
In the morning Isis went with the semen of Horus to the garden of Seth and said to the gardener of Seth: “What plants does Seth eat here with you?” The gardener said to her: “The only plant Seth eats here with me is lettuce.” Then Isis placed the semen of Horus on them. Seth came according to his daily custom and ate the lettuces which he usually ate. Thereupon he became pregnant with the semen of Horus.
Then Seth went and said to Horus: “Come, let us go, that I may contend with you in the court.” And Horus said to him: “I will, I will.” So they went to the court together. They stood before the great Ennead, and they were told: “Speak!” Then Seth said: “Let the office of ruler be given to me, for as regards Horus who stands here, I have done a man's deed to him.” Then the Ennead cried out aloud, and they spat out before Horus. And Horus laughed at them; and Horus took an oath by the god, saying: “What Seth has said is false. Let the semen of Seth be called, and let us see from where it will answer. Then let mine be called, and let us see from where it will answer.”
Thoth, lord of writing, true scribe of the Ennead, laid his hand on the arm of Horus and said: “Come out, semen of Seth!” And it answered him from the water in the midst of the marsh. Then Thoth laid his hand on the arm of Seth and said: “Come out, semen of Horus!” And it said to him: "Where shall I come out?" Thoth said to it: “Come out of his ear.” It said to him: “Should I come out of his ear, I who am a divine seed?” Then Thoth said to it: “Come out from the top of his head”. Then it came out as a golden sun-disk on the head of Seth. Seth became very angry, and he stretched out his hand to seize the golden sun-disk. Thereupon Thoth took it away from him and placed it as a crown upon his (own) head. And the Ennead said: “Horus is right, Seth is wrong.”

Then said the Ennead: “Let Horus and Seth be summoned so that they may be judged.” Then they were brought before the Ennead. The Universal Lord said before the Great Ennead to Horus and Seth: “Go and pay heed to what I tell you. You shall eat and drink so that we may have (some) peace. Stop quarreling so each day on end.”
Then Seth told Horus: “Come, let’s make holiday in my house.” And Horus answered him: “I’ll do so; yes, I’ll do so, I’ll do so.”
Now afterward, at evening time, bed was prepared for them, and together the lay down. During the night Seth caused his phallus to become stiff and inserted it between Horus’s thighs. Horus then placed his hands between his thighs and caught Seth’s semen. Then Horus went to tell his mother Isis: “Help me, Isis, my mother, come and see what Seth has done to me.” And he opened his hands and let her see Seth’s semen. She let out a loud cry, took up her knife, cut off his hands, threw them into the water, and restored for him hands that were equivalent. Then she got some fragrant ointment and applied it to Horus’s phallus. She caused it to become stiff and inserted it into a pot, and he caused his semen to flow down into it.
Isis at morning time went carrying Horus's semen to the garden of Seth, and she said to Seth’s gardener: “What sort of vegetable does Seth eat here in your company?” And the gardener answered her: “He doesn’t eat any vegetable here in my company except lettuce.” And Isis put Horus's semen on it. Seth returned according to his daily habit and ate the lettuce, which he regularly ate. Thereupon he became pregnant with Horus's semen. So Seth went to tell Horus: “Come, let’s go that I may contend with you in court.” Horus told him: “I’ll do so; yes, I’ll do so, I’ll do so.”
Then they both went to the court and stood in the presence of the Great Ennead. They were told: “Speak for yourselves!” Then Seth said: “Let me be awarded the office of Ruler (may he live, prosper, and be in health), for as to Horus, the one who is standing (at law), I have performed a man's work against him.” The Ennead let out a loud cry, and they spewed and spat at Horus’s face. Horus laughed at them. Then Horus then took an oath by god as follows: “All that Seth has said is false. Let Seth’s semen be summoned that we may see from where it answers, and my own be summoned that we may see from where it answers.”
Then Thoth, lord of script and scribe of truth for the Ennead, laid his hand on Horus’s shoulder and said: “Come out, you semen of Seth.” And it answered him from the water in the interior of the marsh. Then Thoth laid his hand on Seth’s shoulder and said: “Come out, you semen of Horus.” It said to him: “Where shall I come from?” Thoth said to it: “Come out from his ear.” Thereupon it said to him: “Am I, who am divine fluid, to come out merely from his ear?” Then Thoth said to it: “Come out from the top of his head.”
And it emerged as a golden solar disk upon Seth’s head. Seth became exceedingly furious and extended his hand to seize the golden solar disk, but Thoth took it away from him and placed it as a crown upon his (own) head. Then the Ennead said: “Horus is right, and Seth is wrong.”

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Male homosexuality was highly ritualized in many New Guinea and Melanesian societies. It was ideologically justified in a manner that as no equivalent in Western notions of sexuality. It was not viewed as a matter of individual preference but as a social obligation. Men were not classifiable as homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual. All men were obliged to be bisexual as a matter of sacred duty and practical necessity. For example, among the Etoro, who live on the slopes of the central Papua, New Guinea, highlands, the emics of homosexuality revolve around the belief that semen is the source not only of babies but of manhood as well. Like the men of Hindu India, the Etoro believe that each man has only a limited supply of semen. When the supply is exhausted, a man dies. Although coitus with their wives is necessary to prevent the population from becoming too small, husbands stay away from wives most of the time. Indeed, sex is taboo between husband and wife for over 200 days of the year. The Etoro males regard wives who want to break this taboo as witches. To complicate matters, the supply o semen is not something that a man is born with. Semen can be acquired only from another male. Etoro boys get their supplies by having oral intercourse with older men. But it is forbidden for young boys to have intercourse with each other and, like the oversexed wife, the oversexed adolescent boy is regarded as a witch and condemned for robbing his age-mates of their semen supply. Such wayward youths can be identified by the fact that they grow faster than ordinary boys.
Among the Sambia of the southeastern highlands of New Guinea, boys are allowed to play with girls only until age 4 or 5. Subsequently, they are strictly regulated and all heterosexual play is forcefully punished. It is normal for young boys to hold hands with each other. But Sambia males and females never kiss, hold hands, or hug each other in public. Late in childhood, boys are initiated into the men's secret society and are taught how to act as warriors. Obedience to the male elders is rigidly enforced. Younger men, as among the Etoro, obtain the gift of semen from their seniors. Males must continue to avoid any heterosexual contact until they are married.

                 NOTAS

Late in childhood, boys undergo a series of inseminating rituals, which are not primarily intended to give pleasure but to help the younger males grow and become masculine. This gift of semen from their seniors is intended to prepare the the young boys for warfare and to enhance their reproductive ability.
